The work consists of 667 Belgian fossil stone building blocks. These are built into a column of site-specific dimensions in a determined building pattern, alternating laying and standing layers. Small pieces of found material are used to compensate for the minute variations in size between the individual pieces.

The blocks are not fixed in any way. Not all blocks need to be used.
